The CRT

The Cross-Rivendell Trail (CRT) is a 36-mile educational and recreational resource in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. The trail extends from Mt. Cube in Orford, NH, to Flag Pole Hill in Vershire, VT, connecting the four towns of the Rivendell Interstate School District.

The CRT provides a wide variety of learning opportunities across disciplines and serves as an excellent outdoor classroom and resource for the Rivendell Interstate School District. The trail itself is managed by the Rivendell Trails Association, which was formed in 2003 when it became clear that the district would need assistance managing the trails over the long term. In 2014, the RTA took primary responsibility for the oversight and maintenance of the trail.

More about the history of the Cross-Rivendell Trail and information about the trails themselves can be found at the Rivendell Trails Association website.
